Indian children in full festive garb perform the dandiya raas, otherwise known as the dance of swords.

Round and round

Normally a busy part of town, right in front of the Gold market in Sharjah. After midnight, it's just a car or two that passes under the lamplit sky.

An astounding skyscape. The patch of cloud in the center looks like a dragon breathing fire into the ground.
